Opened in 1973, ArchCare at Ferncliff Nursing Home is located on a pastoral setting located just outside the historic village of Rhinebeck and is easily accessible from Kingston, NY. Our mission is to provide the best possible experience through holistic care that addresses not only the residents' physical needs, but their social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs as well.

Set on 36 beautiful acres of the former Astor family country estate in the Hudson Valley, ArchCare at Ferncliff is truly home to its residents. Views from each of the 328 rooms reveal meticulously maintained grounds with acres of verdant lawns and mature trees. Residents soon discover the coffee shop, an important gathering place for their families and friends. Volunteers staff the gift shop where residents can shop for cards and gifts or their favorite confection. The main dining room is a place to exchange stories at tables accomodating two to four friends. A full schedule of recreational opportunities is available, and there are special programs designed for the bed-bound.

Though the setting is impressive, first-time visitors are often most impressed by the staff's true spirit of hospitality and the tremendous enthusiasm they show for their work.
